Down He Goes in a Ball of Flame!

I went down hard today. I was just being mellow on a hang-ten to halfpack when things went wrong. When I went to switch, I was a little back, but the bars turned a little when I took my right foot off and I ended up sitting on the grip, which forced my other foot up and I couldn't get either one under me as I fell back. The bars colapsed and pitched me onto my back and left hand. I hit hard and it kind of knocked the wind out of me and I just kinda stayed down for a minute...it hurt.

But the biggest thing that sucked was that I was being mellow and the trick is one that I never crash on. It was so stupid on my part and I was angry. It kinda felt unfair, you know? But you gotta pay the toll ro rock-n-roll, brothers.

Coach has new forks with a brake and they look so good. His bike is so fun to ride, it LOVES to spin. Sarge is working on whiplashes and I can't wait until he is trying doubles with me. I almost got on a few, by the way. Good session...even including the ass-smash.

Jagger/Swirly/Katapult

Coach got new forks so that he could run front brakes and they pretty much match the red of his King frame perfectly. They look great. I am stoked that he has come back from the darkside.

Sarge and I had a great session. We pretty much went monster on turbines and I had a blast. We are both at the same point with the trick. We both pull them on a regular basis, but we aren't consistant, but we want to start linking it. So we basically played with them trying to get super smooth. We started to define all the screw-ups, you know, too tight of a circle is a "Swirly" and too far back sticking your chest out is a "Mick Jagger," holding your hand up high to recover balance is a "John Travolta." It went south from there. Pretty soon I was into a "Tire Fuck," and Sarge did a "Travolta mixed with a little Hurricane Katrina." I love how mellow Scuffinator is about tricks and switch-hit sessioning a tricks with him is always fun. He is learning a ton of really fun forward rolling stuff, so I think sessions will be a blast. It kinda sucks, though, because he has his music on but still talks to me and can't hear what I say in response, so I am having to make stupid facial expressions and hand-gestures. I am going to sabatoge that fucking "Life Sucking Introversion Stimulator," a.k.a. Ipod.

Status Report!!

So Justin took his cranks off and is using pegs, instead. Hmmmm...

Paul is talking to christians sluts on the internet. Hmmmm...

Joe has nine days off. Hmmmmm....

Tzim still has my camera and has not commented about it. Hmmmm...

Scott will soon only have one job. Hmmmmm....

I think it is sad that the only way our crew can get updated about one another is through a fuckin BLOG!! Hmmmmmm...

Ok, here is the deal...we need another shindig. We need to have everyone there and we have to make SURE that everyone can make it. Whether we ride or not, we need to get together and armwrestle, drink and shit-talk face to face. I think we should have a ride at the werehouse followed by an all-nighter somewhere. Post here any things you have coming up that would prevent you from attending the Brigade Foxhole Shindig '05.

Check us out on the web!

Welcome to the revised website of The Bloody Bike Brigade Inc. We hope that our new logo will encourage interest in our company and promote growth. In an effort to portray BBB Inc. and our affiliates, BSR, The Tzim syndicate and WWW.Enjoy-the-Trick.com, as increassingly accessable to a new generation of consumer, we have taken the lead in advertising and promotion. With joint ventures on the horizon, the future of BBB Inc. and our affiliates is looking bloody, indeed.

We hope you will check back often for a daily dose of what the Brigade has to offer and invite you to watch our growth!

OOOOH YEAH!!

Had a decent session with Sarge, tonight. He learned hitch-hikers from a regular karl-kruizer. He seems to work backwards from the hardest versions of tricks. Pretty soon he will be doing hikers out of opposite elbow-glides (which is how I learned them way back in the 80's). Then he is going to learn no-handed cross-footed crackpacks and work backwards from THAT. I am impressed with the Scuffinator, he has something new everytime I ride with him.

I actually got somewhere with the karl-kruizer pass-throughs to halfpack. I leaned back a little (or actually just didn't lean forwards) and it went right under me AND I got my hand switched on the seat, which is a big deal. It was the closest I have come, but it was fleeting. Most of the time I just flopped and stomped around holding my bike and feeling like a retard. Good things are gonna happen once I get this link, though. I will have SO many doors open, I can't wait.

So, to celebrate my addition to the BBB site, I post some questions...
  1. Where the hell is Justin and is he riding?
  2. When was the last time Hagness rode his bike on a weekend?
  3. Why was there only three pictures of Kevin Jones in his interview for Ride UK?
  4. How long will it take some slut to sink her claws into the Sarge, now that he is actively internet slut-hunting?

Post away!!
