Black sails on the horizon....

The Pirate stole a new ship and was spotted sailing around the ghetto courts last Sunday. The new ship is smaller and lighter - a Fly Simple frame, with a pair of Aaron Frost Sequence bars, Steingraber forks, London Bikes pegs, Inertia Incognito sprocket, KHE Flatpro wheels, Primo Flatland cranks, Ares 88 plastic pedals, and some badass red Primo tires to represent the BBB! The Pirate is dialed!

Hey Jeremy, man, you gotta come and session this weekend. I've been waiting to get a new bike together and come ride with you guys. Hail to the BBB!

"Finding My Way!"

I have been thinking about riding so much. Much more than usual. I wish I could have a week where all I did was ride. I could learn so much. I want to take a vacation and go somehwere warm and flat. Get a motel room and just ride my bike around to various surfaces and try them all out. Then go beck to my room at night and chill out watching movies or reading or getting a hooker. Whatever. Just have fun and enjoy a little peace. No pressure, no responsibilities.

Just riding. There were days like this for me many years ago. I didn't realize how good I had it. Actually, I did and I made the best of them at the time. But I want more. The next time I go to Portland, I am going to leave my phone at home. I wish I could. Soon, I am going to make a few days available for my bike. Take some time off work and just mooch off the Coach for a few days ( like I don't already!) and enjoy Portland. I need to find a way.

Wheelie Bike

It is done. I am going to keep it in my car and roll some switch-foot hikers. It looks like weapon with the Kore bars, Pitchforks and Redneck along with the silencer-style pegs. Maybe I should rob a bank with this thing!

Ho-down

The shindig went down at the Hagnas ranch once more. It was a little subdued, in comparisson to past get-togethers, but we had fun. I missed Tzim and Sarge missed Darrell. We rode our asses off saturday and then hit Walking Man Pub in the gorge for some high-content brew to go with the pizza. Scott has so many stories about riders that we never get bored and rarely stop smiling. Great time!

MySpace

Ok, so I moved my blog over to MySpace.com. It's at www.myspace.com/kidsbike. It's kind of cool because you can network with other myspace people alot easier. Simon Obrien is on there and I have corresponded with him. He's a rider...big surprise, but cool.

Shindig at the Hagnas ranch this weekend, I need it. Gonna burn a hole in the floor of the wherehouse, you know it.

Images

Saw some of the footy last night from Sarge's video and I gotta say that Sarge is getting the hang of this video shit. Good mix. I tried to get it onto my pc so we could put it on Pedal, but it wasn't happening. i am too ignorant of Mac/PC interactions. I can't wait until we have enough footy together to make a fifteen minute vid. That's gonna be great.
